About Dee N’ Bee

Dee N’ Bee started at our garage.

After buying our first home, Bee and I (Dee) decided to save money by building some of our own furniture. We got into woodworking fast. Tools, equipment, late nights, mistakes. But it wasn’t long before we realized something frustrating. We might as well have bought the furniture new.

  • Not because of the wood.

  • Not because of the tools.

  • Because of the fasteners!!!

A single box of 18 gauge brad nails, 5,000 count, close to twenty dollars?! F-that.

So we did what frugal people do. We looked for another way.

We leveraged a connection in Los Angeles and sourced a few cases of woodworking fasteners directly. The process was confusing and honestly a little intimidating. Learning customs. Figuring out logistics. Moving product from Asia, to Los Angeles, to the Pacific Northwest.

It was scary. But we figured it out.

Once the numbers were clear, it hit us. We were saving serious money on everyday essentials like type 17 screws, drywall screws, brad nails, wood glue, and more. In some cases, the savings were as high as ninety percent compared to retail pricing.

That is when it clicked.

If this helped us, it would help others too. Woodworking should not be locked behind overpriced consumables.

So we started Dee N’ Bee with a simple goal. Help builders throughout the PNW save money on the things they use every day.

The response has been strong. Stronger than we expected.

Today, we are expanding beyond fasteners into hardware like full extension drawer slides, hinges, packaging supplies, and more. Same mindset. Same approach. Just growing carefully.

Still hands on. Still frugal. Still doing it the hard way.
